Soil Sensor & Soil Tester

We develop and produce soil moisture sensors, soil NPK sensors, soil temperature sensors, soil pH sensors, and soil detector testers for smart agriculture, supporting customization, and remote cloud computing.

Soil PH Sensor

Soil PH Sensor

Soil PH Sensor

Accuracy: Soil pH sensors can accurately measure the pH of the soil, thereby helping users to understand whether the pH of the soil meets the needs of plant growth.
Real-time: The soil pH sensor can monitor the pH of the soil in real time, so as to help users find the abnormal PH of the soil in time and take appropriate measures to correct it.
Convenience: Soil pH sensors can be conveniently installed in the soil, do not require much space, and can be used anytime, anywhere.
Economy: Compared with traditional soil analysis methods, the cost of soil pH sensors is lower, which can save a lot of money.
Sustainability: Soil pH sensors can monitor the pH of the soil over a long period of time, thereby helping users understand the changes in the soil and take measures to protect the soil environment.

Video introduction to soil PH sensor

Introduction:

Soil pH sensor is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of soil. It consists of an electrochemical sensor that converts pH into an electrical signal, which is then transmitted to a display unit or data logger for reading or recording.

How to use a soil pH sensor?

When using it for the first time, you need to plug it in the soil several times to remove the oxide film on the surface of the probe. Then insert the probe vertically into the soil, which requires avoiding rocks. Besides, you can manually dig a pit in the ground, then insert the sensor horizontally into the pit wall and bury the map.

Measuring area of soil pH sensor
The measurement area is a cylinder with a diameter of 5 cm and the same height as the probe with the center of the two probes as the center. As the picture shows:

Measuring area:
φ=5cm, cylinder with the same height as the probe

Precautions for using soil pH sensor
1. All probes must be inserted into the soil during measurement.
2. Pay attention to lightning protection when used in the field.
3. Do not bend the probe violently, pull the lead wire of the sensor forcefully, and do not hit
or hit the sensor violently.

4. The sensor’s protection grade is IP68, and the sensor can be soaked in water.
5. Due to the presence of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation in the air, it is not
suitable to stay energized in the air for a long time.
